Straight answers

Questions people actually ask

How do I know if my puncture is repairable?

Rule of thumb: a puncture in the main tread, under 6mm, away from the shoulder and sidewall, is usually repairable. Anything in the sidewall isn't — the structure's compromised and no legal repair covers it. We'll confirm on inspection either way, free of charge.

Can you repair a run-flat tyre?

Mostly no. The stiffened sidewall that lets a run-flat keep going after a puncture is the same thing that makes a reliable repair unlikely — most manufacturers specify replacement only. We'll check yours and tell you straight.

How long does a puncture repair take?

Usually under 30 minutes once we're on site: remove, inspect, plug-and-patch from the inside, rebalance, refit.

What if it turns out I need a full replacement?

We'll tell you on the spot and give you a flat price before doing anything. You're never charged for both a failed repair attempt and a replacement — we diagnose first.

"Assumed I needed a new tyre after the warning light came on for the third week running. Turned out to be a screw. £39, twenty minutes, sorted."

"Another place quoted me £180 for a replacement without even looking at it properly. Tyre Rescue actually inspected it — repairable, £39, done on my drive."
